Atrias chooses Proximus SpearIT to manage their basic ICT services

Following an extensive public procurement procedure, Atrias decided to award the framework contract "Basic IT Managed Services" to Proximus SpearIT.

For the next 3 years Proximus SpearIT will be responsible for managing all services & components of the basic IT services for Atrias employees. In concrete terms, this means the acquisition, maintenance and license management of the basic IT equipment. It includes all end-user workplace related components such as PCs, laptops, network printers, wifi equipment, mobile devices, the local network and meeting room equipment.

In addition, the framework contract includes an extensive range of managed services for complete management (installation, configuration, lifecycle management, integration) and guaranteed on-site support for end users. The necessary service delivery and governance services are also provided in order to guarantee this quality of service.

The framework contract was awarded on the basis of a number of set criteria, in which - in addition to TCO - a number of quality aspects of the service were also evaluated.

A strong proposal

In the award process, potential partners were evaluated on their approach to the integration & migration process, on their offer and organization of managed services, and finally on their service level - including response times and availability of services. 

Proximus SpearIT distinguished itself by a very clear and phased planning of the integration & migration process, with concrete examples for continuous improvement, and a strong proposal for the design of the governance.

Proximus SpearIT has well understood our specific context and offered an approach that responds to our trajectory to further evolve our basic informatics services, including maximizing the use of M365 services. We are very much looking forward to starting this promising journey with them in 2021.
