What do we expect from you?

Job description:

  • Global operational, administrative and aptitude of the Unified Communications technologies such as CUBE, SIP trunk implementation and SIP protocol troubleshooting, Cisco UCS.
  • Must have first-hand operational management of multi-node, multi-site, and multi-region deployments
  • Install, configure, troubleshoot, and upgrade UC environments
  • Working experience with middle-scale enterprise Cisco Unified Communications and Collaboration solutions including design, implementation and support

Specific knowledge of Cisco’s UC portfolio including, but not limited to,

  • Highly Desired: 5-10 years of experience preferred in Communications Manager, Unity Connection, Unified Presence (Jabber), Attendant Console (Peterconnect), Routing, Voice Gateways, Expressway, Video Conferencing, TelePresence, and WebEx solutions
  • Working knowledge of third party dependencies including, but not limited to:
    • Microsoft Exchange and/or Office365
    • Microsoft Active Directory
    • DNS
    • DHCP
    • TFTP
  • Infrastructure and application oversight and ownership (OS, firmware, security)
  • In-depth knowledge of communication protocols (e.g. H.323, SIP, H.248, QoS, COS, etc.)
  • In-depth knowledge of communication signaling and compressions (e.g. domestic and international PRI (T1/E1), Analog, SIP, G.711, G.729, G.722)
  • Global dial plan development and administration (specific to E.164)

 

Job requirement:

Indirect Experience (must Have)

  • Must have working knowledge of networking technologies (Layer 2/3 LAN, WAN, MPLS, SD-WAN, Connectivity, IP, VLAN, 802.1X)
  • Must have working knowledge of security technologies (Firewall)
  • Ability to develop and maintain accurate documentation
  • Proactive oversight of hardware and software lifecycle management
  • VMWare ESXi, Hyper-V and various Windows Server and Desktop OS and macOS
  • Any experience in managing call accounting, call recording, and call reporting duties
  • Ability to develop, document, and/or provide training to both technical and non-technical personnel
  • Ability to directly exchange (ticketing) with our Telecom Provider
  • Proven ability learn new technologies and applications directly or indirectly in support of the communications infrastructure
  • Understanding of cloud and hybrid technologies

ADMINISTRATIVE (MUST HAVE)

  • Proven ability to work in a high-touch, fast-paced environment
  • Understands industry trends, including new products and solutions
  • Understands global and domestic personnel communications security and is pro-active in ensuring data privacy and compliance
  • Excellent technical skills, including ability to define trade-offs, ask probing questions, and incorporate technology solutions into a broader enterprise environment
  • Pro-active awareness of direct and indirect security threats
  • Must be effective in working independently and in a team setting
  • Must have the ability to understand and actively problem solve direct and indirect components and dependencies
  • Strong oral and written communication skills to articulate technologies to technical and non-technical personnel
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer relationship skills
  • Certification strongly preferred (CCNP certifications)
  • Experience in Pre-sales.
  • Ability to identify and make pro-actively value-added recommendations
  • French and English Fluent
