  • A passionate and experienced DevOps Architect/ Engineer with broad knowledge and a skill-set covering the full life cycle of product development.
  • An inspiring and substantiated team player who can close the gap between functional and technical aspects in order to build future oriented products with the most appropriate technologies.
  • An innovator who is solution driven although pragmatic. Learning about new technology trends, sharing knowledge and coaching team members is in your DNA. An agile mindset who wants to have an impact in conceiving solutions for the transportation and logistics sector.
  • Our client started a large Digital Transformation Program including multiple projects to enhance and optimize existing business processes. User experience (UX) is a fundamental key to success of all projects. Our client works with different third parties, with cutting edge technologies and is willing to enlarge existing and new developing teams (inhouse, onshore, nearshore and/or offshore).
  • You’ll be working in close collaboration with the Digital Program Manager with focus on supplying the best technical solutions (infrastructure, architecture, automation…) based on the functional paradigm of all projects.

Your responsibilities:

  • understanding the needs of stakeholders and proposing the best possible technical and future oriented solutions.
  • R&D of new technologies and concepts
  • ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
  • planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions
  • analyzing, executing, and streamlining DevOps practices
  • automating processes with the right tools
  • facilitating development process and operations
  • establishing a suitable DevOps channel across the organization
  • setting up a continuous build environment to speed up software development and deployment process
  • architecting overall, comprehensive, and efficient practices
  • guiding developers and operation teams in case of an issue
  • monitoring, reviewing, and managing technical operations

Your profile:

  • experience in DevOps, configuration, automation, operations and leadership.
  • years of experience building great software using updated tools
  • experience in API first, Cloud first and Agile Development
  • experience with API Management: e.g. apigee, Postman, Kong, zuul…
  • experience with EDI: e.g. Lobster, MuleSoft Anypoint, Jitterbit
  • experience with Data streams: e.g. Kafka, Amazon Kinesis, RAITMQ…
  • experience with container technologies: e.g. Docker, Vagrant, Canonical, Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, AWS Fargate,
  • experience with application performance: e.g. WebLoad, LoadNinja,
  • experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD): Jenkins, GitLab, Buddy
  • experience with source control systems: e.g. Git, Subversion
  • experience in agile and continuous delivery
  • experience with monitoring and alerting technologies
  • experience in data modeling and database design: e.g. Oracle DB, MySql, NoSql
  • experience with Agile Tools: Atlassian (Jira & co)
