The Proximus / Google Business Developer will interact with customers to help them to transform and build “what’s next “for their business- all with technology built in the cloud. Presenting specific Google differentiators as “products engineered for security», reliability and scalability, capability to run the full stack from infrastructure to applications to devices and hardware.
The Business Developer will interact with customers-developers, small and large businesses, educational institutions, and government agencies to demonstrate the benefits of Google technologies.
As part of Hybrid Cloud Sales Team, you will play a key role in understanding the needs of our customers and help shape the future of businesses of all sizes using technology to connect with customers and employees.
As a Google Senior Bizz Dev, you will advocate for the Google Cloud Platform & Specific Proximus service capabilities as enabling technology for business innovation. You will introduce Google Cloud Platform to our Financial, Retail & manufacturing customers.

  • Engage with targeted list of prospect organizations to position Google Cloud Platform solutions through strategic solution proposals, references, and analyst data.
  • Work with wider Google Cloud as account teams to develop and drive pipeline and provide guidance. Work with Google Cloud Platform partners to develop campaigns.
  • Serve as the primary customer contact during bid submission, pilot test, legal review, and procurement phase with Presales support of Specific resources BE & LUX.
  • Maintain records of customer interactions and provide monthly projections in Proximus CRM Tools.
  • Build a pipeline of customers within the given vertical (e.g., Manufacturing, Media…. Others…) and promote the specific capabilities in AI, Data Analytics, Anthos, VMWARE integration ……
  • Leverage Proximus Sales Organisation and Marketing resources and provide input on current materials offering ideas on how to improve them.

Job requirements

  • Experience in client sales/management / Business Development
  • Experience working across technology and cloud computing complex sales process on specific targeted customer list.
  • Industry knowledge of System Integrators (SIs)/Service Providers (SPs), Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), and the Cloud ecosystem.
  • High value oriented professional used to dealing with complex ICT / Public & Hybrid Cloud needs & projects (technology, services, processes)
  • Proven sales experience in the ICT landscape (working with customers, vendors, ISV’s, integrators,)
  • Sales experience in Public Cloud (AZURE/ GOOGLE/AWS) technologies
  • Solid understanding of the latest trends & drivers in the Public Cloud Market, with the experience to separate hype from working solutions
  • You have experience with stakeholder management in open ecosystems
  • You are trilingual: NL, EN, FR

Additional nice to have qualifications:

  • Experience in sales and relationship management with a cloud / SaaS technology
  • Experience selling cloud-based (enterprise) solutions.
  • Experience building and maintaining excellent relationships with accounts.
  • Experience working with and managing partners in complex implementation projects.
  • Knowledge of the Big Data landscape and Business Intelligence technologies., and how various cloud technologies (PaaS and laaS) work together to drive technology adoption within the existing large account base.
  • Design Thinking skills, with a strong ability to leverage the building blocks of the Google Cloud Portfolio to solve customers’ business challenges.
  • Demonstrated ability to work towards strategic goals in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to engage with developer audiences as well as IT and business leaders.
